Your personal profile will attract a potential date for you. These profile writing tips will help you make sure your profile is more compelling.

It can be a daunting task to be faced with a blank screen and not knowing what to write,. But really think about who you are before tackling your actual profile. Then when it comes to filling out that form, you’ll know exactly what to say.

• About Me?
  This is the area where you write all about who you are: ie your age, height, marital status? Do you have children?

• Ideal Date?
  Do you prefer a romantic candlelit dinner for two to a night down the local pub, reading novels to watching movies? Think about what you would like to do or go on your date..



• What am I looking for in a relationship?
  Do you want to find a knight in shining armour? If so, put it down. Do you want to find a princess? Don’t be shy. put it down..



• Why am I Special?
  Include the things that make you special. Do you hate chicken but love eggs? Do you only wear jeans on Mondays? It’s the silly little things that give an insight into your character.



• Optionals
  Finish off with any extra optionals of the more personal things you seek in a date. Be open and honest,. There’s nothing wrong with saying that you like cuddles and some TLC or that you are independent and like your own space. These are the things that can make or break a relationship.



• Be Honest
  What could be worse than arranging to meet a strapping rugby player, only to find they can't hold a ball, let alone kick one and wouldn't know one end of a paintbrush from the other? You wouldn't like it. Neither would anyone else. Stick to the facts and avoid disappointment



• Bad Habits
  Include any bad habits you have like smoking or if you are a heavy drinker



• Photo or No Photo?
  If you want more responses, add a great picture to your profile. Try to find one that accurately represents the way you look in normal life. Your fancy dress costume may have your friends in stitches of laughter, but potential dates want to see the person underneath. A photo is worth more than a thousand words.



• Headline Grabber
  Think of a snappy headline. "Lonely Lady Seeks Handsome Man" isn't going to attract a lot of attention. But "Mrs Robinson Seeks Graduate For Private Tuition" will certainly turn a few heads. Just make sure it sums up what you are all about.



• What NOT to Include
  Do NOT include in your profile .Your telephone or mobile number, Your Address, Your Place of work, Your e-mail address, or any bank or other financial details.
